Incoming! What's new at... Whistles?

Remember the beautiful limited edition cocktail dresses designed by Roksanda Ilincic for Whistles that hit stores last summer? Well, they're back. Yes, that's right, Serbian-born London-based designer Roksanda Ilincic has teamed up with high street favourite Whistles dress once more to launch a new collection of dresses for spring. The new range features 10 must-have cocktail dresses that flaunt all the signature hallmarks of Ilincic's design - elegance, drama, sculptural detailing and zesty colours. The collection, which is priced from £250, mixes tailored cotton and diaphanous silks with an abundance of soft draping, ribbons, metal detailing, moon-like embellishment, gunmetal panelled discs and zips - mixing romantic features with edgy touches. The dresses, which are all named after poisonous British flowers, come in a variety of styles - think asymmetric, halter-neck, bubble hem, blouson, shift and strapless - in a palette of midnight blue, teal, sugary lilac, buttery yellow, peach, cream and apple green.Jane Shepherdson, chief executive officer and all-round creative genius of Whistles, says of the range, "This second collection that Roksanda has designed for us is even more exquisite than the first. The range was inspired by the feelings that summer brings in all of us: fun, happiness and lightness. The line continues in the same spirit as last season's, which is to appeal to women of all ages."

What's more, visit the Whistles website today to watch a short video about the collaboration, as well as enter competitions to win your favourite dress from the range and for your chance to attend the Roksanda Ilincic for Whistles spring/summer 2010 launch parties in London and Liverpool (where you'll be able to shop the collection before it goes on sale).
