Use the right color for your personality!
Now's the fun part: adding color to your hands. The shade you choose can say a lot about your personality — or the impression you'd like to make. For a job interview, pick pretty, pale pink. Date night? Daring red. Also, consider the season. A crisp fall day calls for a deep, brownish mauve; a bright coral nail polish is perfect for soaking up the summer sun.
Apply the polish the same way you did the base coat, starting with the pinky finger and ending with the thumb. Try to create wide strokes to prevent the nail color from looking too streaky. Follow with a second coat. Use a cotton ball with a little nail polish remover to clean up any mistakes.
To finish off the look, add a shiny topcoat. Look for one labeled "quick dry." This will help your polish dry in time for you to grab your keys and head out to show off your beautiful hands!
